For many people it’s not enough to own good pictures – they would also like to share them. Whether via e-mail or on social networks, Ashampoo Photo Optimizer 4 won’t let you down.

E-Mail makes the sending of pictures from e-mail client easier. Just click on the button Mail and a browser will open in which you comfortably select all pictures that you would like to send. Then click on Next. As the sending of email is often maximum size, a dialog will follow in which you can decrease the size of the image. This way the pictures can also be converted into the compressed JPG-Format and you can also enter the maximum size in pixels.

By clicking on Send email your email client (MS Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) will be opened and you can proceed with the creation of that mail.

Facebook has become a constant in social networking. When click on the Facebook button your browser will open and you can login comfortably (login data required!). The picture is then posted onto your Facebook profile automatically. However. this is only possible, if you already are a member of Facebook.

Picasa web albums with their close connection to Google are very popular, in order to share your picture galleries in the world. Just click on Picasa to start the wizard. Then a window opens in which you can enter  the login data of your Google account. When you entered your e-mail and password correctly, a small dialog opens in which you will be informed about the uploading process. After that you can either stay within the program by clicking OK or you can click on Go to your album. Then the browser will open and you will be forwarded to Picasa.

Wallpaper or background image describes a classic as well as popular function: The selected image will be used as background image on your desktop. The options for the wallpaper appearance are especially important, if your image has a smaller resolution than your desktop. Then you should try which is the best format for your desktop. Then proceed by clicking OK.
